Connecting Lake George and Lake Champlain, the La Chute River drops over 70 m in just 6 km. Most of that drop is in rapids, but here are the La Chute Falls in Ticonderoga, New York. We went from pretty complete ice cover on Tuesday to wet around the edges on Wednesday to patchy partial ice Thursday to no ice today. #Spring has come to the #Adirondacks and #LakeChamplainBasin.
