Back under the twisted maple at Kubota Garden on Saturday.
The sun was sliding through the branches, and for just a moment it lined up in the fork of the tree. I stopped down and let it burst into a star.
I loved how the whole canopy had gone orange around it, lit from behind.
Have you ever had the light line up for you like that, right when you happened to be standing in the right spot?
It happened for me here. I kept shifting a few inches at a time until the sun sat right in the branches. 😀
