Spotted on approach to Portland International Airport #KPDX: US Navy Blue Angels arriving from Anchorage, Alaska. They will be based at the Portland Air National Guard Base at PDX while performing at the Oregon Int'l Airshow in McMinnville #KMMV this Fri/Sat/Sun. Military performers stage out of PDX because it has more ramp space, longer runways and better security. It's a shame political headlines cast an air of suspicion upon invited guests that the airshow organizers worked so hard to bring here.
