RELEASE: Greater Northshore and MEGAMAP Bike Maps version 2.0.1 - 4 August 2025

Updates this release are fairly minor EXCEPT for the decades-awaited connection from Elliot Bay Trail to Waterfront, and an important new set of bike lanes on Meridian in Shoreline.

2 Line Eastside Bike Connector updated their map to include the new train stations opening today! If you’re seeing this on May 10th, you can go to the opening events!

Naturally, we’ve picked up the new version, and both Greater Northshore Bike Connector and MEGAMAP 1.7 – 10 May 2025 – are now available to download.

But this time, I have something to think about.

They've gone and changed their map key on me, and I'm not entirely sure what to do about that.

New #lightrail expansion coming Aug 30! Mark your calendars, the light rail's 1 line extension to #Lynnwood opens over Labor Day weekend. Four new stops will open: #Shoreline South/148th, Shoreline North/185th, #Mountlake Terrace, and Lynnwood City Center.

In other words, we will have about 1/16th the capacity of Tokyo's train system, not including the Shinkansen.
