Went to the Anish Kapoor exhibition yesterday. I'm a bit ambiguous about it - it's sort of impressive but I feel like the impact was very heavily reduced by the way they displayed some of the things. Surely the two big "religious" objects need to be in slightly darker rooms? Now you very much see they're just, well, papier mache but better, in the very cold light of day. In a room with a kind of industrial ceiling that utterly doesn't fit.
