I've officially started editing and exporting my #Japan travel photos.
This image is from the Samurai District of #Kanazawa, now a bustling urban street just off the main roads in the Downtown area. We did not get to visit it during the day, but even in the evening the mix of ancient with modern was curious as ever.

The Kanazawa–Tokyo leg is my final journey along unfamiliar routes on the Hokuriku Shinkansen; after that, I’ll be spending just under two weeks acting as a guide for a friend in Tokyo and Osaka.
Somehow it feels like I just arrived a week ago in Japan and have to leave already :*(By the way, on the Kanazawa–Tokyo route, the "old" onboard service with the beverage trolley is still in use.

The best cleaning tool I've ever seen for removing black scuff marks from shoe soles.
Tennis ball on a telescopic pole.
Works like a charm! -

If you plan to climb Utatsuyama on a hot day, bring a waterbottle with you!
There are no vending machines but you can refill at some waterstations.
The views are worth it! -

Taking a rest in the shadows with some wind on Utatsuyama.
My protection gear has to work hard today (UV head + neck protection + sleeves + airblower jacket).
31°C does not sound much but with the sun burning down + high humidity the "RealFeel" is more correct.
First time I had to turn my "blower jacket" on full power. -

Part 12
Wakura OnsenA realy nice place and all the people there have been super polite.
Sadly there was a tourist who tried to park his bike at the wheelchair ramp which he was denied.
The guys tried to find him a spot, but Mr. Brain "couldn't leave his expensive bike out of sight" because he had no lock for it.
He was pissed & spoke only fast in english with the poor employee there.Mr. Engelmann: Idiots like you are the tourists no one needs!

Wakura OnsenAnd then we have the newest addition / the newest rebuild.
There has always been a public foot bath in the park but it has been redesigned!
So the "Wakura Footbath" became the "Wakura Pokemon Footbath"!It even features its own pokemon manhole!

Wakura OnsenAgain why 7 times the mascot in one park?!
But who wants to spend a long time pondering over such a cheerful egg?! -
Part 5
Wakura OnsenLet's go and look for Wakutama-kun who is chilling in one part of the park.
What a happy little egg :)
-
Part 4
Wakura OnsenYou will find also an observation deck to get a better view of the bridge.
Or actually two decks right next to each other for whatever reason.I realy don't get the 3 names park and the double observation deck but anyway ...
Maybe the tourism team has to much money?!?
-
Part 3
