I’ve already gone out a few times to take photos with my Mamiya. I bought a waist-level viewfinder and a small electronic light meter. I’m waiting for a few rolls of film to come back from the lab. We’ll see how they turn out. I’m especially curious about the Phoenix films. I haven’t shot with them before, and they’re quite unique. #Mamiya #Mamiya645

Après avoir renvoyé deux boitiers qui ne fonctionnaient pas, j'en ai reçu un 3eme aujourd'hui, du Japon, avec un viseur prisme a exposition auto, qui était vendu comme défectueux, et qui s'est miraculeusement remis en route, apres un peu de nettoyage! Donc voici un moyen format automatique, avec priorité au diaphragme, et manuel.

Trees and sheep all in a line.
This was Sheriffmuir in Stirlingshire, early one morning.This is the last of my mini-series of trees. Velvia 50 using a Mamiya 645 (a lovely camera that I’m selling here: https://www.ffordes.com/p/SOR-243-064774/mamiya-645/pro-tl-complete - you know you want one for yourself for #Christmas, and I would like the sale to get something else for my 4x5 camera!).

Picking up on trees after yesterday’s image, today’s photo is from an early morning in Ratzeburg (northern Germany), where the trees grow in symbiosis with the rising and falling waters of the lakes surrounding the town. The summer light highlights the colours and make them stand out just a little more.

The first photo of a series from the narrow streets and passages of Miranda del Castañar.
Keeping it clean. This lady saw me setting up my Mamiya on a tripod. She looked at the street and deemed it wasn't clean enough for a photo. She dashed inside her house, grabbed a broom and started sweeping up. It made the photo!

Miranda del Castañar is located in the Sierra de Francia Mountains, Spain. It dates back to medieval times with a castle, built in the 15th century, and masonry and wooden buildings.
I will post more photos as we wander through the maze of narrow streets. It's like travelling back in time; timewarp stuff!
