I feel like when I invent something, I can only have that idea once. #justMusing

What if we only officially named our children when they turned 1? That way, we might be able to give them more fitting names, based a little bit on how they behave.

Reading about how few manual-transmission cars are sold nowadays. The longer I live, the more I see the value in manual machinery, as I see tech fail all around me.

I was thinking about #BotW and #SSBU and its effects on my outlook of my physical life. They started me on a really good exercise streak, actually. I was more or less sedentary at the time, and it got my body up to speed.
I saw Link exploring Hyrule, and Sheik's attack animations, and realized that there was something in them I wanted which I was missing. There are lots of journal entries in my journal about this. It was rather transformative, actually.

Let's say you joke and say, IDK, "I'm playing against <such and such a character> in this videogame because I hate myself".
Do you think that you hating yourself is funny? No. (At least I don't.)
But, still you find the statement funny. (At least I do.)
So, I would say, the humor isn't in one hating oneself per se, but is in saying so over something kind of silly. Perhaps it is funny by being an overreaction. -

I’ve noted far less division among pets the past few weeks. That’s because every creature great and small wants to see Kalama and the Coach win massively big. #justmusing

I was looking at an aquarium, watching the fish swim, and thought it would be cool if there were creatures that could swim through the air. Then I realized that those are basically just birds....

@malwaretech I'm not sure... on one hand, allowing deleting allows getting rid of troll comments etc., but it also encourages echo-chambers and trolls deleting good comments.
Maybe hiding posts instead of deleting them? Maybe they should go into a bad section like on Twitter. #justMusing -
... However, what about getting into space? They would need to lift a cabin full of water into orbit. Weight is often the limiting factor of launch capability. Conceivably, they could build launch pads on dry land but to get them into the air and moving fast enough to get into orbit would be a huge ordeal in terms of fuel and energy required.
