@proscience The arm touching is such a pro move. It is the simpler things, really. Look also how he pats him on the back before they enter the building, *guiding* him in, as to say "I am the one leading". It's brilliant. Macron's an expert in this (as was Jean-Claude #Juncker by the way). It's really interesting to see how such small, touchy gestures can have such a strong psychological effect.

If only #Juncker the man on whose watch as "Guardian of the #EU Treaties" Viktor #Orban consolidated his destruction of 🇭🇺 democracy financed with 🇪🇺 billions (before Orban performatively turned against him), had any credibility left to talk about #corruption in #Ukraine or anywhere else on the planet.

Whenever anyone involved in an #EPP government, then or now, brings up corruption in 🇺🇦, I just assume they're worried about the competition.
