@kims @Dahlialith @heidilifeldman Thomas & many others [impeached] before him are proof, that the assumption, that lifetime appointments of judges & justices would guarantee judicial independence, may have been appropriate at the time of the Founders, when codes of honor used to be observed, but proves to be naively failing today, in times of broken #SeparationOfPowers & extreme partisanship.
