  1. Nigerian Lawyers in Political Careers: A Historical, Structural, and Contemporary Analysis

The intersection of law and politics in Nigeria is profound and longstanding. Lawyers have disproportionately shaped the country’s political landscape, from pre-independence nationalism to post-1999 democratic governance. Legal training emphasizing advocacy, constitutional interpretation, negotiation, evidence-based reasoning, and oratory equips practitioners exceptionally well for political roles. This pattern reflects both the profession’s prestige and Nigeria’s constitutional emphasis on legal expertise in governance.

  2. “But when the Court does act in this way, its decision requires an equally rare precedential force to counter the inevitable efforts to overturn it & to thwart its implementation. Some of those efforts may be mere #unprincipled emotional reactions; others may proceed from principles worthy of profound respect.

  3. Even the Founders, who evidently had an ethical compass unlike Leonard Leo, would find it utterly questionable & doubtful, that Leo's SCOTUS agents are holding their offices in "good Behaviour".

That's why Congress had been given the power to impeach & remove justices & judges, if their behavior is iunacceptable & intolerable.

If Congress can do that, it can also subpoena figures like $billions-juggler Leonard Leo, who are actively working to subvert the Separation of Power & the Separation of Church & State, which all branches of power are held to preserve, uphold & defend against all dark-money manipulators attempting to compromise the people's carefully checked & balanced system of government.

Leonard Leo even seems to believe in Clarence Thomas's assessment, who called Leo the third-most important person in the U.S., if not in the world.
Looking at Leo's special SCOTUS agents, that's most unfunny, to say the least.
Time for a *Lex Leo" keeping his hand off of United States judiciary forever!

P.S.: Article Three's "in good Behaviour" is ***interpreted*** as meaning *lifetime tenure* for judges & justices.
Since behavior in fact not always proves to be good, impeachment & removal from office has been an appropriate remedy to judicial misconduct/ misdemeanors.
