A new CD on Matchless of a 20 year old performance (December 2004), from the AMM duo of Eddie Prévost & John Tilbury with Sachiko M on sinewaves.
The piece is full of haunting subtleties of sound from the trio, a winter’s wish of room-enlarging acoustics. Beautiful work that seems to hang in the air, outlasting its conclusion.

I love AMM’s music, but this album is really special to me because I was at the concert in Glasgow where it was recorded, nearly 25 years ago. I remember sitting on the floor in a large white space in the McLellan Galleries, with the music existing and then not existing in the air around us.
