Kunsthaus Troisdorf, Montag, 7. Juli um 19:30 MESZ
Am 7. Juli ist der Pianist Thomas Rückert zu Gast auf der traditionellen Troisdorfer Jazzsession. Thomas Rückert ist Dozent für Jazzpiano an den Musikhochschulen in Osnabrück und in Essen. Seit vielen Jahren gibt er dort seinen reichen Erfahrungsschatz an die nächste Generation junger Musiker weiter. Dieser Erfahrungsschatz beinhaltet nicht nur seine Arbeit als Pianist, sondern auch als Coach und Podcastautor. Besonders wichtig ist es ihm dabei, die Form des Intuitiven Spiels, welches er bei der Arbeit mit dem Saxophonisten Lee Konitz kennengelernt hat, an seine Schüler:innen weiterzugeben.
Begleitet wird er dabei von der Hausband mit Christian Oschem an der Gitarre, Urs Wiehager am Bass und Christoph Freier am Schlagzeug. Einlass ist ab 19.00 Uhr, Beginn um 19.30 Uhr, der Eintritt ist frei, um eine Spende wird gebeten! -

Bei der Jazzsession am 2. Juni ist die junge Saxophonistin Paula Steimer zu Gast als Opener und wird begleitet von der Hausband mit Urs Wiehager am Bass Christian Oschem an der Gitarre und Christoph Freier am Schlagzeug. Die 25jährige Saarbrückerin studiert seit 2021 an der Musikhochschule in Köln bei Claudius Valk. Als Mitglied des Bundesjazzorchesters war sie schon in Skandinavien unterwegs.

@JazzhausHD2014 Huhu - #Hashtags sind so praktisch. Bei diesem Beitrag würde beispielsweise #Heidelberg #Jazz #Jazzsession #Jamsession #Musikhochschule #Mannheim passen. Bei mir ist's beispielsweise so, dass der Hashtag #Jazz immer überwacht wird - da hätte ich also die Ankündigung mitbekommen, auch ohne euch zu folgen. Dass jemand, der das #Jazzhaus nicht kennt, per Zufall "Jazzhaus" suchen und finden würde: eher unwahrscheinlich ;-)
