Where: @toekomstmuziek.venueWarm Bad is a party for artists and art-lovers, a space where you can dress and move however you want. We aim to make you dance with an open live music jam. This session has two rules to make sure the egos can’t inflate too much: 1 no songs 2 make it danceable. The houseband will be the backbone of the jam and make plenty of space for other musicians to join in or take over. The jams will be interwoven with interlude performances to reset the mood of the improvisation.
You can draw inspiration for your outfit, musical input and dance moves from the theme for this month’s edition.

De werkelijkheid lijkt steeds fictiever, want onvoorstelbaar. Alles wat je verzint – zou zomaar kunnen. We zien een wereld die gevangen is in één eng verhaal, een verhaal dat ons een kant op drijft. Papieren Helden onderzoekt welke verhalen we daartegenover kunnen zetten, en welke nog niet uitgevonden vormen er zijn om die verhalen te vertellen.
Ontmoet elkaar in een rommelzolderig, clubby sfeertje, tussen beats en taal, muziek en performance. Plaatjes worden gedraaid, verhalen verteld. Verwacht experiment. Denk rhythm & prose. Verwacht verhalen die middenin de wereld staan. Een literaire jamsessie. Denk prose punk. Stel de vraag: kan fictie de wereld redden?

Ultima Impro Jam di improvvisazione libera della stagione organizzata dal collettivo musicale Conserere.
La serata si svolgerà tramite il susseguirsi di brevi set di improvvisazione libera, con l’estrazione casuale del numero e dei nomi di chi si esibirà. La partecipazione è aperta anche a chi preferisce solamente ascoltare. Vi aspettiamo in un luogo dove la musica e l’ascolto si fondono. In loco sono disponibili una batteria, un pianoforte verticale e un impianto. Conserere Conserere è un collettivo autogestito di musicisti e musiciste nato nel 2016, dedicato alla pratica e alla diffusione dell’improvvisazione musicale. Al centro del progetto ci sono l’ascolto, il dialogo e la costruzione di una comunità artistica aperta, inclusiva e critica, in cui ogni strumento e linguaggio può trovare spazio. Il collettivo lavora per creare una rete di supporto ed educazione sull’improvvisazione, intesa sia come spinta alla scoperta sia come capacità di adattamento. Attraverso questa pratica, Conserere promuove lo sviluppo di attenzione, creatività e consapevolezza, elementi fondamentali per far crescere sia l’individuo sia la comunità. Conserere articola la propria attività in laboratori aperti, jam, workshop e residenze artistiche con esponenti internazionali nell’ambito della musica improvvisata.

This is a mixtape of my b sides tracks, unreleased and stuff being just posted temporary on soundcloud.

I listened it last night again and I must say that I'm pleased with some ideas and it's as one friend said possibly a brighter edition of Rage Blanche.
So here are some stories about the music, the tracks:
1. - recorded from the first take while jamming on yamaha portasound's two different presets.
2. this is a serious remix idea for a kind of summer vibe house track. i used ableton's stock samples and built in instruments, its just a scetch
3. i love the moment of the nylon acoustic guitar ran through different pedals here.
4. Somewhere in the Night
(1946) a mildly interesting ol flick, but the moment which initiated this track was the sound of the movie from the docks which sounds like cellphone vibrating. Cellphone vibrating in 1946??? You get it.
5. a ride with minibrute 1 but not in an agressive brute factor way but a chi led out, kind of moogy synth stuff.
6. mostly fx by m-audio black box unit also arpeggiated korg monologue in some parts.
7. 8. 9, 10, when i got yamaha csx-1, all the sounds are from there. a period when i also watched experimental movies and jammed along.
11. This one hits hard. Several kicks which make a main theme, beat and a bunch of parts and hooks from instruments and distortions.
12. Marshal McLuhan sampled from his famous lecture but what's more weird is Azra was also sampled. Not so well known song, but those violins... The beat is an attempt of old school electro stuff, but at this point it's not so well saturated, except the bass part later in the track.
13, i hired a friend of mine to make guesses of the exact results of football matches and he was scoring 80% and more accurate. We never bet. But what I did is databended the excel file in various alghorythms through audacity and further played with the design.
Some years before the big AI bang a guy appeared in a bar i was in that night and i don't know what started a story, when i explained him this concept work he said: "DO YOU WANT MONEY?"
I said no. Of course. And then he was saying that AI is gonna change the world for the best possible way. That night and the whole conversation still has a kind of omen for me. Not related to not taking money but something else.
Most of all, hope you do enjoy listening.

I listened it last night again and I must say that I'm pleased with some ideas and it's as one friend said possibly a brighter edition of Rage Blanche.
So here are some stories about the music, the tracks:
1. - recorded from the first take while jamming on yamaha portasound's two different presets.
2. this is a serious remix idea for a kind of summer vibe house track. i used ableton's stock samples and built in instruments, its just a scetch
3. i love the moment of the nylon acoustic guitar ran through different pedals here.
4. Somewhere in the Night
(1946) a mildly interesting ol flick, but the moment which initiated this track was the sound of the movie from the docks which sounds like cellphone vibrating. Cellphone vibrating in 1946??? You get it.
5. a ride with minibrute 1 but not in an agressive brute factor way but a chi led out, kind of moogy synth stuff.
6. mostly fx by m-audio black box unit also arpeggiated korg monologue in some parts.
7. 8. 9, 10, when i got yamaha csx-1, all the sounds are from there. a period when i also watched experimental movies and jammed along.
11. This one hits hard. Several kicks which make a main theme, beat and a bunch of parts and hooks from instruments and distortions.
12. Marshal McLuhan sampled from his famous lecture but what's more weird is Azra was also sampled. Not so well known song, but those violins... The beat is an attempt of old school electro stuff, but at this point it's not so well saturated, except the bass part later in the track.
13, i hired a friend of mine to make guesses of the exact results of football matches and he was scoring 80% and more accurate. We never bet. But what I did is databended the excel file in various alghorythms through audacity and further played with the design.
Some years before the big AI bang a guy appeared in a bar i was in that night and i don't know what started a story, when i explained him this concept work he said: "DO YOU WANT MONEY?"
I said no. Of course. And then he was saying that AI is gonna change the world for the best possible way. That night and the whole conversation still has a kind of omen for me. Not related to not taking money but something else.
