Devastating to read that one cyclist has been killed and another injured today on the IndiPac. It seems that both drivers hit and run. Gah, what an awful day. I hope the drivers turn themselves in soon, and that the families may get some clarity around what has happened.

The Indian Pacific Wheel Ride kicks off tomorrow, an ultra endurance "not a race" from Freo to the Opera House. 5471 km of self supported suffering on a bike! I'll be watching the dots, and cheering for my mate Paul, riding as "Baz"!

The ride kicks off at 6.22 am, to honour the late Mike Hall, who died after being hit by a car during the inaugural event back in 2017.
