I checked 4160 fediverse instances for their connectivity.- A / AAAA record persent
- Reachabliltiy over #IPv6 if AAAA present.107 Instances announce AAAA records but have broken inbound IPv6
2141 are #DualStack and have working inbound #IPv6

I would be glad if you could also provide this for people in the modern internet?
Currently you are limiting your reach and are excluding people and instances which use the current #InternetProtocol
Please provide #IPv6 connetivity, inbound and outbound?Thank you!
@gnome is a great example! They where #IPv4only a couple of month ago and are #IPv6 reachable today across all services! Thank you!

@hallunke23 @q They do have AAAA RRs for the apex domain but no AAAA for the webserver www, where you are redirected.
Additionallysome of the secondary services and JS providers are not enabled. If you are a customer, the portal is #IPv4only. Sadly.See also:

Today I started to make a list of #ipv6 reachable #mastodon servers. It will feature both the ones which work and the ones that don't. So far, it looks pretty good!
