Winter solstice at Gipsy Point Lodge on the Genoa River, Gipsy Point, VIC. This has been my second home for the last few years (particularly in the wildflower season!) but the owners have recently put it on the market so not sure how much longer I will be able to enjoy the unique combination of wild orchids and delicious steak dinners on my trips south. Great spot for anyone looking for a tree/sea change - just a short drive (or boat ride) to Mallacoota and the coast. If you're into orchids this is a dream location with plenty to be found nearby between Genoa and Mallacoota.

Morning flight over Eden, NSW with the cruise ship Disney Wonder docked in Twofold Bay. Eden used to look a bit more industrial than this with large petroleum storage tanks and less luxury houses (and cruise ships!) in this view ;)

Quick check of the weather out the backdoor at Corunna this afternoon as storms passed through from the west. Pretty dark to the south over Gulaga with the main storm passing even further south between Cobargo and Bega at this stage.
Ended up being the last shot of the day as just after I took this the drone got into a slight argument with a pair of wedge tail eagles and didn't fare too well! Had to limp home for some repairs on the gimbal but still seems airworthy ... #LastShotOfTheDay
