Thinking about
How my Jewish relatives
Are using the tactics of the very people
Who used them against my Indigenous people
Here
And genocided them.
Every day, I try to build back a little against that genocide.
Now, my relatives across the pond
Who didn't get removed way back when
Are justifying genocide in their own name.
Palestinean children will spend every day building back
Their own culture, language, traditions
So that they don't forget,
If they survive.We're supposed to be better than that.

Went out to get a cake from the grocery store. Excitement, there's a pumpkin spice cake with non dairy whipped topping (cool whip) and it's done up in blue and white. Blond white girl at checkout gives me a very weirdly aggressive "Merry Christmas". Feeling very #indijewnous right now.
