Copa Airlines incorporó su contenido NDC a la plataforma Argo, utilizada por empresas y agencias de viajes en Brasil y América Latina, con el objetivo de ampliar el acceso a tarifas, servicios y funcionalidades para clientes corporativos.

Las empresas y agencias de viajes que utilizan la plataforma Argo en Brasil y América Latina podrán acceder al contenido de Copa Airlines mediante el estándar New Distribution Capability (NDC), una integración que busca ampliar las opciones de gestión para los viajes corporativos.
La incorporación permitirá que los clientes empresariales consulten el portafolio de productos y servicios de la aerolínea directamente desde la plataforma, con acceso a funcionalidades específicas del canal NDC, desarrollado por la International Air Transport Association (IATA) para modernizar la distribución de contenidos entre aerolíneas, agencias de viajes y compradores corporativos.
La integración forma parte de la estrategia de crecimiento de Copa Airlines en el mercado brasileño y amplía los canales disponibles para la comercialización de sus servicios dirigidos al segmento empresarial.
¿Qué cambia con la integración?
De acuerdo con la aerolínea, el estándar NDC facilita una comunicación más eficiente entre las compañías aéreas y los sistemas de reservaciones, lo que permite ofrecer información más completa sobre vuelos, tarifas, productos complementarios y servicios personalizados.
En esta primera fase, los usuarios de Argo podrán realizar búsquedas que combinen vuelos con contenido NDC y no NDC en una misma consulta, además de planificar itinerarios nacionales, internacionales y multidestino.
La plataforma también incorpora filtros avanzados por fechas, horarios y tipo de cabina, acceso a tarifas públicas y privadas con sus respectivas reglas tarifarias, utilización del programa de viajero frecuente, emisión de boletos en línea, distintas modalidades de pago e integración con sistemas administrativos de backoffice.
Estrategia para el mercado corporativo
Monica Afonso, Country Manager de Copa Airlines en Brasil, señaló que la integración representa un paso adicional dentro del proceso de expansión de la compañía en ese país.
La directiva explicó que las agencias de viajes ya utilizaban la conexión NDC para emitir boletos de la aerolínea y que, con la incorporación de Argo, estas funcionalidades también estarán disponibles para las cuentas corporativas que gestionan sus viajes mediante la plataforma.
Disponible para empresas y agencias
La integración ya se encuentra habilitada en Argo, aunque requiere una activación previa por parte de las agencias de viajes.
Con esta conexión, las empresas usuarias podrán acceder directamente al contenido NDC de Copa Airlines dentro de sus procesos habituales de administración de viajes corporativos, con el propósito de centralizar la gestión de reservaciones y ampliar las opciones disponibles para los viajeros de negocios. –sn–
