Being thankful is important, esp. when you use opensource software.

I'm thankful to the coder(s) of gping a command which sends a nice graphical output in *sh when you invoke it of the ping reponses of your favourite server

In the same line I again want to thank the coder(s) of httping which can send you ping responses in an awsome way

Is that not easily determined by sending a

httping

to the server, before that sending a httping to the nearest router, and then setting a httping to the Gateway behind it. Before that running

ip -c a
ip r 

to see the route?

Then run

httping -Kv {server IP/name} 

Amaze yourself with the output.

If your server is approached from a wireless device run

sudo horst

and analyze the WiFi network surrounding your server. Maybe that Ubiquiti device on the ceiling finally started to act up and just kicked the bucket
