New shoes and brake pads for the #MX5 #Miata today. Preparing for #HPDE next week. Trying the PowerStop Z23 this time and some Pirelli P7 that I got on closeout at TireRack.

An annual New Year's tradition is nearing. At the stroke of midnight registration for next year's HPDE events for the local PCA chapter opens.

So I scheduled my indy mechanic for next week — new struts all round (Bilstein B12 kit), 4 wheel alignment, new Textar brake pads all round, brake fluid flush, inspection for DE for the first of May. New cabin and air filters I will do myself. Should be set for summer fun and track weekends.

So January 1, 00:00 is sign up time for #HPDE s for my #PCA chapter. Have to set an alarm. I am well past partying days on New Year's Eve so will be sleeping.
