  1. House Flipper 2 erscheint für Nintendo Switch 2

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyI3SEz1xQM

    • Physische Nintendo-Switch-2-Version inklusive Sakura-DLC

  7. House Flipper 2 (Multi, XPd on PC) Test out your interior design skills and get even more creative with the revamped toolset in this excellent sequel.

If you follow me you might have noticed I like a good sim game (and if you like em too stay tuned, reviewing a couple more today), and HF2 is absolutely a good sim. Not surprising as the OG was a good first showing for the devs, Frozen District. This time out they've refined the tool set, added in some more story elements, and boosted the parts catalog some.

Story this time around is you are returning to your childhood home in the small town of Pinnacove. Your parents have moved to a retirement home, and you need a job. Friend offers you a house cleaning job, and your Flipping career has started. Sim games can have a tough time being entertaining with story elements but FD did a great job putting flavor into each job/structure.

If you played the first game you'll have no trouble getting locked in to the groove here, as all mechanics are essentially the same, just improved. But even 1st timers to the series should pick it up fast as the tutorials do great at schooling you on the systems.

So it's the same loop of "pick up trash, clean the stains, sell the unwanted/broken stuff, knock down/build new walls, paint/tile/wallpaper, buy new stuff, finish job/sell house". A new wrinkle added in this sequel is the sandbox mode where you can build an entire house from scratch. They've also added in "yard care" with a lawnmower and the fact you can "pick" weeds and sell/plant trees (this was DLC for the first one).

I've really enjoyed my time with this game. I'm hoping for some good DLC to extend that even more. I'd highly recommend picking HF2 up. 👍 👍 👍 It's a nice cheap way to pretend you aren't cripplingly broke and the real estate market is such that you're forced to live in an RV. Or you know, whatever the circumstances are..
