Playing Star Wars Outlaws. Its actually pretty cool and hard to imagine it was a flop.
But what the fuck is happening with the picture quality on PlayStation? Tons of artifacts, like the game is rendered in 720p and upscaled with FSR2 to 4k. Everything shimmers, is ghosting and blurry.
Just got reminded why this console generation is such a disappointment.

Ayer x la noche me puse a jugar al Star Wars Outlaws y estaba a punto de cerrar para ir a planchar la oreja cuando, siguiendo la misión principal, un bastardo me quita al pequeño Nix y se lo da a alguien para saldar sus deudas.
Bueno.
Bueno, bueno, bueno.Vi rojo.
La frustración y la ira de Key se sentía a través de la pantalla.Vamos, que en contra de lo que todo el mundo decía me metí en el palacio de Jabba el Hutt CON LAS ARMAS POR DELANTE.
Que los guardias gamorreanos (los cerdos verdes) aguantan muchos tiros de blaster? Le recetó una dieta de granadas.
La cosa terminó regular y aún tengo que ver cómo arreglo el lío... Pero casi termino con un Rancor a cabezazos.
No sin mi compi mascota.

El sigilo el juego lo lleva regulinchi (es un poco como en aquella escena de Galavant, la de 'secret mission') pero el equipo de desarrollo ha hecho un gran trabajo haciendo sentir que este mundo está 'vivo'.
Estaba yo en la capital del planeta donde estoy, y veo que anuncian por megafonía una nave de transporte de pasajeros (lo que viene siendo un Alsa) y una de las naves del fondo, de esas que crees que están solo para dar ambiente, cambia de rumbo y aterriza delante de mi.
Creo que algún NPC bajó por el otro lado, pero me pareció un detallazo.
Aparte, ya tengo un poco más de experiencia y puedo hacer cosas bastante chulas, que las habilidades se desbloquean haciendo cosas (puedo distraer a los guardias con labia, y cuando lo haces varias veces desbloqueas el hablar mejor para ganar tiempo y desenfundar rápido*... a lo Han Solo en Mos Eisley).
Tiene sentido y me gusta este tipo de progreso, que viene de forma más natural que el típico 'he matado 5 bichos y ahora se diplomacia'.*En esta casa defendemos que Han Disparó Primero.

Hay una cosa que me acabo de dar cuenta y no deja de molestarme.
Uno de los 'mentores' de Kay Vess es una experta en entrar en sistemas informáticos de Star Wars (aquí es todo HW, pero bueno) y en las misiones y tal no dejan de llamarla 'hacker'.
Es lo suyo, pero el problema es que los 'hackers' en Star Wars se llaman 'SLICERS', porque 'cortan' a través de los cifrados y protecciones.
entiendo el por qué de una decisión así, pero hubiera dejado el término con el que los fanses de SW están familiarizados, por ayudar al worldbuilding... pero que sabré yo?

Estos Droides sirven para todo, lo mismo hacen transporte, que llevan baterías que convierten energía. Me parecen adorables y canonicamente aunque tú no les entiendas ellos a tí si... así que pórtate bien con ellos...

Aprovechando que estoy solo en casa una semana voy a darle un empujón al Star Wars Outlaws, porque tengo mono de:
- Star Wars, pero cosas nuevas y no lo de siempre.
- Saber si es tan malo como he leído (solo me he hecho el tutorial, pero por ahora me parece solo... típico juego de Ubi con mecánicas de sigilo y no mucho más).Esto y que es muy posible que esta noche le ponga 3 o 4 episodios de Star Wars Visions a unos colegas para demostrarles que la Galaxia es suficientemente grande y variada como para albergar historias interesantes que no tengan que ver directamente con lo de siempre...
