Would be interesting to hear from a someone familiar with both the #HistoryOfGermany around 1930 and #Modi's targeting of Muslims in modern India.How deep do the similarities go?
Is the future of India likely to follow a similar path to 1930s Germany?I've got a faint memory of #WGSebald writing something about Germans in 1944 realising how valuable stability is compared to a imagined political utopia only after their homes and cities had been bombed to ruins and burnt to ash.
