For the record, Stardew Valley on Linux runs flawlessly. With mods, too. Only annoyance is that Heroic doesn't allow to upload Linux version's saves to Gog Galaxy cloud, despite the fact that when I manually copied saves, I could continue playthrough started on Win.

I was gaming on a 2019 #macpro with Vega 2 GPU, running #Ubuntu 26.04, playing #Stalker2 and #Cyberpunk 2077 from GOG via #HeroicLauncher.

Nothing really worked until I’ve additionally installed #ProtonGE with #yay on #ArchLinux.

Interestingly, I’ve had no issues in #HeroicLauncher.

@TheLastOfHisName Have you tried GE-Proton? It's supposed to have better compatibility overall. Heroic Launcher #heroicgameslauncher can install it directly to the right place in Steam, which is probably the most user friendly way to install it.

Mon interface est configurée en français partout où c'est possible. Et c'est effectivement traduit partout dans l'app...

Sauf que quand je clique sur un jeu de ma bibliothèque, la page du jeu affiche brièvement le texte descriptif dudit jeu en français avant de le passer sur l'anglais 😵‍💫

C'est un glitch/bug propre à Heroic ou j'ai raté quelque chose ? C'est rien, mais ça me chafouine un peu 🤔

En Linux recomiendan la versión 2.19.1 por un conflicto de la primera versión en algunas distros.

Heroic Launcher is now working flawlessly on Kubuntu, it allowed me to log-in GOG and see my games' library. It was weird that only a few versions ago, troubleshooting didn't solve a thing. The Heroic dev team put in some serious work, I'll donate to them to help fuel the project.

Morrowind is up and running on my computer, so that means a new play through is going to be started (I prefer playing on PC rather than console). Can't wait to get some other games installed and see if they work well too. As I own the classic STALKER games, all the enhanced editions were gifted to me. Can't wait to mess around with those.

Heroic Launcher updated to version 2.16. Moving defaults into latest versions of UMU and GE-Proton and away from basic WINE components. Probably a good idea to wait a day or two to see about stability issues, but it's nice to see continued progress from this great project.

Another attempt to gaming, after all those years, I'm trying Witcher 3 again.

Trying to download it from GOG using Heroic Launcher on Mac. This is what I'm getting most of the time. It's simply not downloading anything for 90% of the time. It's kinda annoying.

No idea if the reason is Mac, launcher or GOG.
