🧠 A team of scientists led by Friedhelm Hummel at the Neuro-X Institute have developed a therapy for stroke patients experiencing hemianopia, a condition that causes loss of half of their visual field.
This new treatement combines visual training with a multifocal, non-invasive brain stimulation approach to re-orchestrate brain communication and improve recovery.
