One of our sons is losing his hearing, so now I can add learning British Sign Language to my polyglot life. 😂

Some of the signs are really sensible.

Horse for example is basically “G G” created by holding the letter G and moving the fists in a vertical circle twice (Young English children call a horse a GeeGee, prounced as hard G, or J’s).
Rabbit is the bunny ears on topof your head.
Fish is a swimming motion sideways with one flat hand.

Taking it slowly, but it’s fun so far. 😇

The #DOJ is appealing a #CourtOrder requiring the White House to immediately begin providing American Sign Language (#ASL) interpretation at its #press briefings when #Trump or press sec Karoline Leavitt are speaking.

In a court filing responding to US District Judge Amir Ali's ruling, DOJ requested clarification on which types of events should have ASL interpretation available [ALL dimwits].

Adenosine and its congeners have been studied and found to have a variety of potential uses, such as reducing noise-induced #HearingLoss, being used as #AntiAnxiety and hypnotic agents, reducing stress-induced #apoptosis of #HippocampalNeurons, and having #antipsychotic action. This suggests that adenosine and its congeners could be used in the future to treat a variety of conditions, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, seizures and convulsions, and #schizophrenia.
