yeah it's fucked out here. esp in OH. if you stay in the cities you might be okay but campgrounds are usually in deep red areas. that's usually a Do Not Travel for us. Had to take down all of our pride stuff because of escalating hate crimes locally. I had to stop dressing like I used to (cutesy and femme) and change my wardrobe to redneck cause of threats to me (trans man with full ass beard).

we have some really nice doctors and care around here, but with massive defunding and the big anti-queer and anti-intellectual push (see our stupid school bills) a lot of people packed up and left. The big one banning "woke teachings" in colleges would kill education here completely. i could go on for hours.

Did you know we have a counter for how long it's been since a car crashed into a building in Columbus? it averaged about 1 every 2-3 days for January of this year. :)

don't come to ohio. don't do it. our science museams are run by fascists and our grocery stores are filled with people trying to sell you things.
