Managed to make a couple handstand blocks for a colleague. Fortunately I already had the wood ripped into strips from before I moved last year. I have been unable to use my table saw since I came up here because our solar system lacks the fortitude to run my saw. Now that I have the generator I will be able to use my power tools again!

Made some round blocks for a former colleague to replace the crappy and too small blocks that came with her canes set. I had to make them considerably larger per her request and also needed to bore a hole in one of them to house the ratchet on her turning cane.

Blocks are cut and chamfered and here is a mock-up of the whole. Next step: install furniture inserts into the base and blocks.

Refined things a bit on the base. This would make a cool bench top or shelf. And I glued-up the blocks. The blocks are made with the same wood.
