Card + cable got here yesterday. It's specifically for Epson parallel printers, which were a very popular choice for Apple II (and clones) owners. Probably designed for the FX-80 (or maybe MX-80), which is fine as my later LX-80 is mostly compatible with it. The cable looks fine.
Will be testing this weekend should I have time.
