  4. I just released Solitaire 50.1!
    There was a lot of work going in to this release:
    • Added translations: Brazilian Portuguese, Cornish, Kazakh, Serbian, Swedish, Ukrainian, Slovenian, Russian
    • Added categories to the desktop entry
    • Added all of the missing Aisleriot card themes except for Guyenne Classic
    • Fixed a bug where re-deals weren't decremented upon undoing them
    • Fixed a bug that allowed one too many re-deals
    • Clarified the uses of the solver in the preferences
    • Added a 'Display the Winnability Warning' option to the preferences
    • Made the theme refresh when the theme selector dialog is closed
    • Adjusted the brand colors to not clash with the window colors
    • Added spacing between cards and margins for the playing area
    • Added a 'New Game' option to the 'Impossible to win' dialog
    • Added a fail-safe for GTK not handling drags correctly on X11

    This release has a lot of improvements for controls and polishes the app.

    • Added 3 games: Spider, Pyramid, and Yukon

    • Added support for selecting and moving cards using keyboard and pressing
    • Made the stack placeholders support high contrast mode

  8. Earlier today, I released #Quadrapassel 50.rc! This is the last release before version 50 becomes stable. The focus for version 50 has mostly been polishing the app. Here is what's new:

  13. I did another #FreeSoftware ( #PCSavior) time slot at the local Night School. Two nice Moms brought their old laptops in, but we were all surprised out how well they still worked and not quite sure if they were ready to give up on their Office Software. While they talked of that two kids and and an after-school teacher did #TuxTyping, #TuxPaint, #SwellFoop, other #GnomeGames and G-Compris games. It seemed interesting.
