I was thinking of doing a blog post about the brief #glub meme, not out of vanity or anything, and I don't even know most of what happened, but because it was a thing that happened and will be forgotten about eventually when time swallows it up completely.

You see, #Glub did well, but that was on #Firefish, and as far as I know, #Mastodon hasn't had a proper #meme of it's own. Maybe that ghastly #JohnMastodon thing.

But I can imagine #ButtFrustrating being the type of meme that would do well on Mastodon.

At least maybe three or four years ago it might have ...

You can #quote here on #Firefish but I rarely use it because #Mastodon has conditioned me to not use them.

I probably will eventually, to add my take to something or other but so far using it would feel like I'm just being mean or stealing someone else's #glub

I'm on firefish.social and it's pretty good. I already started a #glub #meme there.

I'd recommend firefish.social but the site's down at the moment for maintenance.
