Here is a real problem of the #Democratic Party establishment.
Gina Hinojosa was able to get enough election donations from small donors to win her midterm. She did not get much support from the Democratic Party because the establishment believed that she would lose to Abbott. The same happened to Beto O'Rourke four years ago. But the timing was wrong for him. Yet he created the grassroot network that was one of the reasons that helped Gina won this time.
