Music video of Hallam London setting my climate change poem "Soap Bubble" to music. This video is from ~5 years ago, the original poem was published a couple of years before that, and I wrote it something like a year before that.
So it occurs to me, after most of a decade, to consider whether things have improved at all. I think they have, a bit. It's been slow, very slow, but sustainable energy is definitely getting into a stronger position now, as are, to pick one thing arbitrarily, electric vehicles...
AI is an utter trash fire in this area, as it is in so many others, of course. So that's a new BAD THING impacting the situation, but we have to hope that will ramp down considerably, once the current round of ludicrous overoptimism (and just plain lying) settles down...
