Music video of Hallam London setting my climate change poem "Soap Bubble" to music. This video is from ~5 years ago, the original poem was published a couple of years before that, and I wrote it something like a year before that.

So it occurs to me, after most of a decade, to consider whether things have improved at all. I think they have, a bit. It's been slow, very slow, but sustainable energy is definitely getting into a stronger position now, as are, to pick one thing arbitrarily, electric vehicles...

AI is an utter trash fire in this area, as it is in so many others, of course. So that's a new BAD THING impacting the situation, but we have to hope that will ramp down considerably, once the current round of ludicrous overoptimism (and just plain lying) settles down...

Heute habe auch ich mal mit Seifenblasen gespielt. 😆 Auf dem Schnee landen sie halbwegs sicher, im Windschutz der Hauswand gefrieren sie dann.

A version easier to colour pick from. Now also taking into account the relative power. The code for generating this can be found on my Github page. The picture has colour profile Display. I am unsure if this shows correctly on your end. Does Mastodon handle colour profile correctly? Does your app for viewing Mastodon content handle colour profile correctly? #rainbow #soapbubble

Here's a technical result. According to my soap bubble simulator, the colour should be as in the picture as thickness goes from 1000nm to 10nm from left to right. The hex colour codes are coloured using my text colouring script. The values are with respect to sRGB... I can paint realistic soap bubbles now. 😂 #rainbow #soapbubble
