  6. After tightening the spindle, moving it down a bit and trying to reduce cantilever by gripping the spindle as close to the tool as possible, this is a second pass with otherwise same parameters.     I plan to buy longer hex wrenches tomorrow to get more leverage.

    This is working on 3/8 in / ~9.5 mm thick 6061 aluminum at 100 mm / minute with a 3.175 mm flat tool at 0.5 mm depth per pass with a custom gcode generator.
