Last but not least, to all political candidates, operatives and canvassers - do a bit of advance reccy on who you suddenly start following and reaching out to on social media.

Personally, I know what I'm about, I know which candidates align with my values, and I know which parties have brought this country to a difficult and challenging place - and I'm not really in the form for humouring anyone's pitch for more of the same.
