Today's Flickr photo with the most hits was taken in Gazimagusa, Cyprus. It shows a gothic church with artillery damage - from the Ottoman siege of 1570-71 - and a truncated minaret, dating from the time of the Ottoman occupation. Many of the city's churches were transformed into mosques, blending Gothic and islamic styles. The building is now out of use.
