A few of the houses in my neighborhood have recently been bought out to become STRs (short term rentals) and given the housing crisis here it pisses me off endlessly. There's nothing that one could consider "a destination" in my neighborhood and there's hotels just a mile away.
I looked and guy who bought the spot nextdoor? He owns 77 fucking STRs around the puget sound. Absolutely insane and gross.
