Ended up using Tusky instead, I think the #mastodon team should really re-evaluate if they should have a #frdoid presence

@[email protected] @[email protected] Paid apps could be a problem, yes. But other than that you can easily grab APKs not available in #frdoid via apps like Yalp. No Google Play services required, no Google account required.

@erikstl #Tutanota because their app is on #frdoid. It's also constantly improving. They just added backup codes the other day, desktop apps and calendar should be coming soon.
