On March 18th 2025, there was [allegedly] a #ceasefire in #Gaza. Hostages [there were still Jewish ones then] were returning, and there was some optimism in the air. Then Israel decided killing chldren for no reason was more important than getting hostages back.
This is when #פעולה_למען_הילדים / #forcibly_involved action started, and I decided to *only* wear political shirts when going out.
15 months later it seems so naive: *of course* Israel ignores ceasefires. -
When the armed settlers – who were caught defacing the memorial wall for the #forcibly_involved children from #gaza – were asked [by a Palestinian local] why they were doing that, they answered: "This is a lie. I didn't kill any child. You [the person asking the question] killed *all* of our children on October 7th". These guys are more delusional than an #LLM

In #Yaffa there's a memorial with photos of #forcibly_involved children who were killed by #idf in #gaza
Armed settler youth keep tearing the photos down, but yesterday – local residents and activists from other places came once again to restore the wall.
They can cime again if they want. They're being photographed and they only shame themselves. The memory of the children will live longer than their psychotic messianic cult. -

Yesterday, @neo and me went to #BeitJala for a joint Palestinian / Jewish vigil for the #forcibly_involved children who keep getting killed in #gaza for reasons no one can explain (although many keep trying to invent reasons and believe in them).
It was refreshing to do this among people who know the truth and share our grief.
