Besides Grayling in River Nar above A47: Bullheads plentiful among the clean flints; unsure if the Pike or I was more surprised when we nearly collided as I struggled up fast flowing reach; fewer Brown Trout than upstream bsky.app/profile/nume... but met this lovely. No Brook Lampreys. #fishsky 3/9

Delighted to have my 1st swim in catchment of that iconic Wessex chalk stream, the River Test, & only my 2nd with European Grayling (1st was in the Itchen). Also plenty Brown Trout, 9-24 inches long but no parr, & oodles of Minnows. #MySwim #Rivers #Nature #Wildlife #TeamFish #Fish #Fishsky 🧵 1/7
