Both vids are also an example of why #Festivids is such a great fannish exchange. I love Dykes to Watch Out For, but I'm not sure I would have independently vidded it - or LEARNED TO VID COMICS - if I weren't in the vid exchange. Now I know how to do image editing!

For this year's #Festivids, I made two vids, both for Alison Bechdel's Dykes to Watch Out For! I had never vidded comics before, so I was both excited and terrified when I got assigned @[email protected]'s request. But super happy with the results!

This vid is HI-LA-RI-OUS. Such a brilliant choice of song for a film that absolutely doesn't take itself seriously, and the visuals are such a great and hilarious match for the lyrics. Also, it can be hard to do ship vids for a pairing that doesn't have a ton of "on-screen time", but this is made fantastically! Just a delight to watch.
