This film began life waay back in 2013 but due to legal issues over film rights didn’t gain momentum until 2017 with The Rock, DnD fanatic Joe Manganiello and rapist nepobaby Ansel Elgort in negotiations. It wouldn’t be until 2019 that former child actor & DnD player John Francis Daley & his creative parter Jonathan Goldstein would take over writing & directing the film with the cast being announced in late 2020 and the film being made in 2021.

This vid is HI-LA-RI-OUS. Such a brilliant choice of song for a film that absolutely doesn't take itself seriously, and the visuals are such a great and hilarious match for the lyrics. Also, it can be hard to do ship vids for a pairing that doesn't have a ton of "on-screen time", but this is made fantastically! Just a delight to watch.

Alrighty, I'm starting to see some speculation about the box office on Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves (is #DnDHAT the hashtag for that? if not it should be over #DnDMovie) so I thought I weigh in.

Looks like weekend and preview totals are $38.5 million domestic and another $33 million international for a total of $71.5 million global on an estimated $150 million budget.

That's pretty good actually.
