I know that #HellMode #HellSchreiber #FeldHell is meant to be printed on a linear strip of paper

But in software receivers, they obviously adapt to 2-dimensional screens, writing the received signal in text lines

Are there typical values of how long (in seconds) such a text line is written, that a sender could try to place gaps in his message? To minimize characters beeing broken between end of one line and start of next line

#Feldhell or #Hellschreiber is an early system of ingenious simplicity to transmit writing via land line or radio. It saw use in WW II, but was developed by Rudolf Hell well before that time, patented in 1929.
