Schnell wie die ICE
Ich mache mir schon länger Gedanken darüber, wo die ICE ihren Staff hervorkramt. Immer mehr komme ich zum Schluss, dass diese Behörde von rechten Recken unterwandert ist, weil ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass diese Vollstrecker jetzt von heute auf morgen so geworden sind. Und das passt ja auch ins Bild. Unter Schwarz/Blau I (Schüssel/Haider) hat Innenminister Strasser die Gendarmerie und Polizei zusammengefasst. Vordergründig argumentiert man im Neoliberalismus mit Effizienz und Bürokratieabbau, aber Zwischen den Zeilen geht es auch um reaktionäres Streamlining. Checks & Balances (und nichts anderes war die Zweigleisigkeit der beiden Exekutiv-Organe, eine Erfahrung aus dem Bürgerkrieg in Österreich) werden ausgehebel, damit man möglichst "effizient" agieren kann. "Effizient" heißt auch immer "radikal". Schnell, so dass die Gesellschaft über die Folgen gar nicht lange überlegen und reflektieren kann und vor vollendete Tatsachen gestellt wird.
Seid achtsam. Die Saat wurde 2000 ausgestreut, jetzt holen sie die Ernte ein.

On Jan 30, the #German #Bundestag debated whether to ask the Federal Constitutional Court to check if the #AfD is anti-constitutional (and thus banned).
Bad #news: There wasn't even a vote; instead the matter was moved to a comittee where it will likely die (the election is soon).
Supposedly they did this because the number of politicians announcing to vote yes was far too low for there to be a chance.

I've only yesterday watched the opening of #38C3 and expected some kind of show/animation but no. They were like: "#Fashism will come.".
Ooff. But yes, I agree. There is a clear global trend. Fashist parties are gaining ground globally, and even when they are not officially in power, their ideas already creep into the mainstream and become "normal". The warning signs are there.

A German court just decided the Federal Office for the Protection of the #Constitution (#Verfassungsschutz) can continue to classify the #AfD party as a "rechtsextremer Verdachtsfall" ("suspected case of #right-wing #extremism"). This is the 2nd-worst classification. The worst is "gesichert rechtsextrem" ("assured right-wing extremism").
The judge said "The smoke alarm of the constitution goes off.".
