I love Beto’s attitude and workrate but Everton never having replaced the goal threat of Lukaku after selling him all the way back in 2017 is atrocious.

It’s all very well saying Ange out - and that first half was embarrassing - but who in? Would Spurs get Iraola or McKenna? Would the culture of meekness at the club change overnight? Many of Spurs problems pre-date Postecoglou. The one positive for the future is that some of the players working hardest are the youngest (Moore, Gray, Bergvall and Spence 24). #THFC #EVETOT

Everton survived a second-half comeback from Tottenham to clinch a 3-2 win at Goodison Park.
Ange Postecoglou's side have now only picked up a single point in their last six Premier League outings...
-
I’m sorry his move to Tottenham hasn’t worked out as he’d hoped, but grateful Richarlison didn’t score more against us today.
We’ll always have that beautiful afternoon against Chelsea.

An all-action affair at Goodison Park 🍿

@spurs JJ talks sense here. 👇
‘One of their worst performances' but Spurs' future 'really bright' - JJ Analysis - BBC Sport
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68192325
“Once the dust settles and they realise how badly they played, a result like that will be easier to accept.
“Spurs picked up a point from exactly the kind of game they would have lost last season with a team performance like that, and there were also real positives to take from some of their individual displays.”

Extended highlights if you need 'em.

Ange post-match. Seems as deflated and disappointed as we all are. I'm gutted. Its not the result so much as the overall performances since City and what looks like a tactic that works against us has been found, especially on set pieces. I'd like to refs deal better with tactical fouls, but like Ange says, it's something we have to cop.
This is compounded by our best players being back without a bang, and Lolo being disappointing two games in a row.

That's three teams we've done relatively poorly against recently and it's also three teams we've played once already this season. I've not seen the Brentford or Everton games, but the noises seems to suggest similar themes of us getting a bit bullied and dominated. City suffocated us completely. Not so efficient teams appear to be doing the same.
Are we getting worked out?
Or is the problem that unsettled and unbalanced midfield?

Tottenham have conceded eight goals in the 90th minute this season, their most in a single Premier League campaign and the most of any side in the division this term.

The home game against Everton could have easily ended in a draw as well. They pushed us and created some great chances for themselves. Something Ange needs to work on is how to impose our own game against a spectrum of different team styles and approaches. And that will really only come when the whole team is 100% ready. Not there yet. #coys #mastodonfc #evetot @spurs

I think if anything today’s performance showed that Ange’s work with transforming Spurs is nowhere near completion. I think we’re at about 50% of where Ange wants to see this team. The race for the last CL spot is going to be very tight. Most likely go to the last day of the season. #coys #mastodonfc #evetot @spurs

Why were we so pegged back?
Edit: look at that xG. Look at the momentum graph. Something seriously adrift since the City game. Can't blame injuries anymore. Does this team hinge on having an elite 6?

Tough game for Spurs against Everton. Could well have been a loss tbh. Stats wise Spurs nowhere near playing their usual dominating possession game. #coys #mastodonfc #evetot

Goodison Park joy.
A late equaliser for Everton.
