Another photo from the #Eastfjords of #Iceland. This was taken from somewhere north of #Eskifjörður in late October 2017. I loved the warm glow of the light you get that time of year. It was like the golden hour that lasts all (relatively short) day.

I think this view of holiday homes outside Eskifjörður is one of the most iconic views of the #Eastfjords. I kind of regretted having decided to stay in Egilsstaðir after seeing how beautiful it was deep in the fjords, away from the ring road. I'll know not to make the same mistake next time. If this photo seems dark, it's because it was getting dark. We did this trip in late October (2017). It gets dark pretty quickly that time of year.
