I am going further down the trackball mouse rabbit hole. Despite enjoying the form factor of the ProtoArc EM01-NL, the battery life disappointed me.
While looking for alternatives, I came across a very reasonably priced Kensington Expert Wireless Trackball (K72359WW) on eBay for ~$35. I think the adjustment period for this one will be longer as it is so different.
Things I initially like: replaceable batteries (I have rechargeable Li-Ion AA's), squishy wrist rest, feels sturdy.
