The study shows the intricate relationship between DNA methylation and #enhancer regulation and reveals that most enhancers are not instructed by 5mC. Yet, methyl-sensitive enhancers are highly dependent on TET activity. #epigenetics @epigenetics

  17. #introduction I am Timothy En Haw Chan, a PhD student at University of Freiburg Hospital 🇩🇪 & affiliated with IMPRS-IEM, Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics. Previously from 🇲🇾 & trained in 🇹🇼. I using #omics to understand #epigenetics landscape, #chromatin regulators and #signaling in #cancer.
